Happy Anniversary
I am always looking for a new place in town that will surprise and delight us. Town Hearth in the design district came highly recommended for our anniversary dinner. They have quite the reputation for the 63 chandeliers all throughout every room in the restaurant and the vintage sports car in the kitchen. Even the bathroom is impressive. Thanks to yelp we reviewed customer feedback and everyone was impressed with the food and service and I will echo their sentiments. Since the main dining room is an open concept and adjacent to the kitchen it can get a little loud. Certainly not a reason to not visit this stylish and bustling place. From the host, bartender and our waiter everyone was so friendly and provided exceptional service. I highly recommend making reservations.
What’s for dinner?
We arrived early and decided to grab a drink at the bar. I deviated from a glass of cab and asked the bartender what he recommends. I find that when you ask a bartender “What’s your favorite drink to make?” If it sounds good, nine times out of ten it’s going to be extra good. He made a lemon cocktail similar to a lemon drop and John enjoyed their signature cocktail.
This place is known for steak so it would be ashamed to not give it a try. We ended up splitting the steak and seafood special and it was worth every bite. Anytime I see brussels sprouts on the menu I’m intrigued. They also came highly recommended by our server. Hands down they exceeded my expectations. We made room for dessert, chocolate pie to be exact and it was slightly rich but we found a way to make room for it.
Find an excuse to get dressed up and have one of the best dining experiences in Dallas.
