Flour is apparently hard to come by lately so if you have the craving for something sweet and baking a traditional cake isnโt an option might I suggest a โDirt Cakeโ.
I told John I needed more dessert recipes for the blog and since he would need to eat most of it, I asked him what we would like me to make. He said, โhow about that dirt cakeโ. I was a little stunned, out of all the desserts in the world you want a dirt cake. He said โYesโ. Iโll admit I may have โslightlyโ given him a hard time however it was well worth it in the end.
I forgot how tasty crushed up Oreos with melted butter, cream cheese, whip cream and vanilla pudding taste. Lets just say the cake didnโt last long, we may or may not have had two pieces in one day and I see another dirt cake in the near future.
