Dessert may be my favorite food, so when The Baked Bear, custom ice cream sandwich shop opened near our house, I knew we had to check it out, sooner rather than later. John has always talked about his love for ice cream sandwiches so I decided it would make a great date night outing.
It’s located in the Grandscape plaza near the Cinema. We walked in and I loved the décor and the smell of fresh baked cookies. We were greeted by a super friendly staff and I decided to build a sandwich with a snickerdoodle and gooey butter cake cookies with the bright blue bear batter ice cream filling.
John built a bear bowl, chocolate chip cookie on the bottom, ice cream on top. They have seating outside and plenty of room to roam throughout the outdoor plaza.
